I figure when things are too good to be true they probably are not.

If this were to be okay I'd like to see the legal documents saying so.

I don't want to give a hundred bucks and if 3000 were not sold not get it back. Besides by law isn't it true raffles can only be done in the same state?

What's the point of raffling why doesn't he just sell the boat.
And if you do get 3000 sold does he get 150k and you get the other half? Who's going to get the money?

OK before anyone starts call their lawyers to see if this is possible, it DID NOT HAPPEN AND IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! The questions was posed to us a few years ago and once all the legalities were layed out the idea was abandoned. For everyone that cant read dates....Here was what the deal WAS supposed to be. An ex raceboat that was refitted to a poker run boat was going to be raffled off through a 501C3 company, charity for those of you who don't know, but as was mentioned earlier there are strict laws that have to be adhered to and it was more of a pain in the ass than anything else so I scrapped the idea. BUT for those of you who would want to undertake this great feat feel free to contact me so I can tell you what not to do so you wont be arrested.

If there are any other concerns surrounding this issue feel free to contact me.
