That canopy is removable for when you are pleasure boating with the family. Installs in a half hour. Also re-worked canopy design to integrate rear windows for more viewing pleasure.

This particular boat does not, but Outerlimits does offer it on 47 canopy boats. It does have top side escape hatches.
