I saw Flash Gordon on Lewisville a couple of years ago. At 105 mph he made it from one side of the lake to the other in about 2.5 minutes.
They tied up next to us in the cove for a bit & those turbines are so friggin loud it'll make your head explode.

Last Sept. at Texoma (the poker run), even at 1-2 miles away, Flash sounded like it had big ol' blowers sitting right in front of you. It was kind cool, from that distance!
