I guess you should have bought it back then. All the interior parts are included and you can pick your own motors and drives...... You could buy a new one for $300k++ If they still will make you one and a new TopGun is almost $400k for a stripped one that runs in the 80's and costs you 8-10K a year to insure. |
Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
I can understand the drives and motors but why the interior?

I think that you should leave your boat intact in the hands of Lucky jr. When things get better you still have the boat to use. bobby can practice the art of cruising the intercostal

Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
What kind of money would it take to put it back together?
|
Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
It all depends on how fast you want to go.
|
Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
I'm just talking about getting it to a point where its ready for engines and drives.
|
Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
Just a guess but I don't think $20k would be out of line for an estimate.

Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
Hi!
Is the old interior such as side panels, dash panels and seats included? Or would it be necessarry to buy everything new from scratch? What kind of parts are included in the engine compartment? Cheeeers, Toffen - Norway |
Re: Has OSO Steve lost his mind???
All the interior dash panels and seats are included.
Everything is still in the engine room except the motors drives gimbals and steering. |

Let me clarify, every part you need to put the interior back together I have less some nuts and bolts and screws that I disposed of. The Electrical is still all connected to the appropriate switches and guages so anyone that is even remotely mechanical could do this project. I have added some pictures for you.
The dash panels in picture 2 are included, the thottles and shifters you see in the console are included. |
