I wonder how long it takes to inflate? if it takes a long time it would'nt work for me...do you need to completly deflate? or just enough to lower your drives into the water?

I looked at these last year. About 3500.00 ea. This was for my 38' Powerquest. It came with one blower. I think it took 3 min. to blow up. You could use two blowers too for faster times. Blowers were available in 12V and 120V.

I’d be concerned about the following:

1) Trapped pockets of water. From the looks of the cleaning pictures, water does apparently get trapped along the hull.
2) You have to trim your drive(s) all the way up to get them out of the water. Not good for the longevity of the drives trim cylinders.
3) How well do they absorb wakes ? Even in no wake zones there are wakes (sometimes big ones).

The price does look pretty good. Roughly less than one half the price of a comparable used Hydrohoist.

If it did trap water you could pour a little Clorox in and get a nice hull brightening while it sat there. There is a company that makes a bag like thing that you drive your boat into in the slip and then pull up around the hull-they tell you to put in some Clorox also.
