Last year speaking at Chicago boat show party, he seemed scared of cat boats and the danger that goes with them. How many V's have escape hatches on the bottom?

SHARKEY Christmas is comming why dont you dress up like and elf and give some of those pictures you took away, buy your self a new camera and a Fountian and scrap that joke of a boat you are running now.

It's not about the boats.... It is how they claim the titles. You've been lurking so I shouldn't need to explain what I mean by that....

Other than the beak, I like the boat. If I had a chance to buy Troppoli's when I was ready to buy, I would have taken his.
When he decided to sell it was too late and I already bought a boat.

As far as photos, no I don't plan on making it a full time job.
Because many people want to see stuff so quickly after an event, I may post a lot of unedited images. You don't actually believe 100 % of the images you see from any photographer hasn't been touched up or edited now do you?

I don't see the comparison for me and Jeff. He has been at it for over 20 years and I have just got my 1st decent camera 6 months ago... What would you expect.... 1Die

As a photographer too, Sharkey is very much correct about the processing of photo's. The photo's you see for example in Powerboat are highly processedand retouched most likely in PS2. The curves tool in PS2 is amazing and color, contrast, tint can all be fixed.
I have been shooting only since 1998 and just got my Canon 20D a little over a year ago and finally bought my 1st pro lens Canon 100-400 L glass 9 months ago. I am trying to learn PS so that my photo's look more professional. I have learn from some lesson that some pro photog's will spend days on 1 picture in PS. I fixed up some of my Destin pictures and I've been told and feel that a lot of them are as good as any pro shots. If Sharkey and I had access to a helocopter for a race we could get some amazing shots too. As long as you have a head for art and compose the picture correctly and know how to use you camera setting to acheive what you want to see then that is more than half the battle.

Sharkey, I messed with RAW a little but not lately. To really dial in pictures you really need a excellent high quality pro monitor. I do not have one myself and that is why I do not mess with RAW much. I plan on getting a much better LCD monitor early next year before the races start and airshows start. Still what I hear though is a high end CRT tube monitor calibrated is the best. I ahve learned that a high quality LCD properly calibrated can work real well too.
