Question for Cat Owners:
I see a lot of cats with cockpit covers, but does anyone run a mooring style cover on their cat? Because of a cat's larger width are mooring covers too big? If not a mooring cover, what do you guys use to protect your cats when you are not using them?
Thanks in advance, DK |
Re: Question for Cat Owners:
I have both a cockpit and a full cover. The cockpit cover is used for when the boat is in the water and the full is used for trailering and storage.
Mine is a 30 foot though, Id hate to see the size of a full cover for a 46 skater. |
Re: Question for Cat Owners:
i keep my 36 inside so only use a cockpit cover. If i left it out for more then a few days i woudl like a full cover. Every now and then there is one for sale with a full cover.

Re: Question for Cat Owners:
we have a full cover on our spectre 30, covers entire boat from the front bottom down the sides all the way and to the back over the motors to the drives......and its huge I also would hate to see the cover on a 40-46 cat.

Re: Question for Cat Owners:
I use a Carrie Cover for storage. Very light and protects from the elements.

Chuck, Did you get the carrie cover through Nortech? Does it go down the sides at all? DK |

Re: Question for Cat Owners:
Check with "Rut Row" on the board. He has a 36 Skater and just got a full cover made. It covers the entire boat and some of the sides.
