Lake Havasu Depths
Hey Guys,
I have a 2005 29ft Monterrey it has a 36" Draft. Im taking it to Havasu in two weeks and Id like to take it up river to the sand bar etc. is it to shallow at the mouth of the river to go up there. Or is there a technique to making it through the shallow water at the mouth. Any advance would be a real help guys.
Thanks John

I run my 35' Cig no problem just watch where the other boats go and keep on plane and trim up. You can see the different color of water unless it is windy. Also be careful when going up to the sandbar becuase it gets real shallow in a hurry and a long way from where you see the sand.

Now if I understand this correctly you guys are all saying to get up on plan and trim up. I just feel kind of iffy about that considering its shallow and if I hit something on plan then im going to fly off my boat. Im just wondering if its safer to kind of put through it and see what happens. Anways just my input I feel kind of nervous about flying though it in hopes of making it safely.
