I have run on TS's boat and they are much faster but the firmness of the ride is somewhat different. And the speed you get with a TS in small waves a cat would still zip by you at 120.

I figured if i really wanted speed a cat would be the way to go. Tiger's are the fastest running 80 in big seas that warrant it than WOT at 98 when all the cats are at 120... My warped logic!

Makes sense, PLUS the fact that if you went and bought a cat, you have give up your next male born to cover the INSURANCE $$!
Congrats again GL on a great looking boat.

Hey GL, I can maybe help you get a few MPH out of your Starboard Engine.
Push the coil wire completely on. You'll get a hotter spark. Look at the top pic in post #3 The boot looks off (correction, it is off) the center post of the coil.

Can't wait to see that thing go Old man.. She looks awesome

Wow ! Major league now ! I now understand better why you were not fighting too much on who would be the fastest between you and DPT! You already had your plan right ??? Nice boat. Really curious to see up close.
Have fun with it!

Re: Changing Cigarette....

I did the survey for GLH and it IS a Sunseeker with Cigarette stickers. Those engines are 4.3L V-6 MerCruisers dressed-up to look like Zul motors and under those #6 housings actually have 1.50:1 Alpha drives.
GLH is fibbing about the speed.
