The owners have boating experience, just not familiar with todays equipment so not total novices. That boat is the most forgiving step bottom I have ever driven so I would say the Bay is still safe. :D

If you want to be scared I would watch out for the hundreds of Bobby Bayliners I saw running around the Bay this weekend.

Here is a picture of the boat when it was being loaded in Miami.

It has 525's with fresh long blocks. Sportmasters with five Blade Merc props set up for cruising. Current speed is 79 as it sits. Half inch spacer and a pair of 30's andd it runs 84.

Boat has generator, ac, plasma tv, full cabin, all the goodies.
