Lots of good places to go on the boat. For lunch try Frenchy's in Clearwater. They have a great dockmaster and nice docks. The Grouper samdwich is always fresh! If you want to relax on a island try Anclote or the sandbar just north of it by 100yards. Head south to Shell Island in St. Pete for more performance boats.
Have fun watch the tides and stay in the channel!

Be careful around Hudson. LOTS of shallow water. Don't venture outside the marked channels.

I may run down to Hooters for lunch next weekend. You still going to be around? I normally put in at Hernando Beach or Hudson and run south.

Gator, Were you guy's at 3 Rooker's last Sunday? We came by and saw a couple of Cig's and a Concept rafted up but were heading down to Frenchy's. When we came back everyone was gone. Dave

I think that may have been Zero Gravity. I know he went down with some other boats. I would have been the Donzi behind Sea Tow from just north of Dunedin Causeway to a small marina in Ozona.

Is 3 rooker the Island just north of Honeymoon Island? I know it's in that area. I spend more time around Anclote and the Sandbar north of it.

Brings back good memories. Met my wife in Hudson, lived there for 4yrs. Anclote Mental Institution is private and I had a 2nd job there for 2-3 months. Wore the white coats third shift.

First night on job they wouldn't let me out at 8am. I explained I just started at midnight and did not receive my picture badge yet. I had to wait 1 hr till the human resources gal showed up at 9am

I had some lots in Moon Lake finally sold them to the neighbor next door. Rough area.

Three Rooker is just south of Anclote. I used to fish there a lot.

Is it the first island, pretty small, imediately south of Anclote?

That was the Crystal River Group. 2 Cigarettes(38&35), 2 Concepts(36&23), a 30 Scarab and a 30 Baja. What a great weekend trip.

It is already hot. Plus on a three day trip the sunburn can add up. On the Cigs, we use Anchor Shades. The Concepts have T Tops or Arches with tops.

Which Sand Bar? I will be in St Pete from Thurs - Sat. Not sure how far north I will make it. I spend allot more time Clearwater to Hudson so I will probably stay from Johns Pass - south.

Is that place still as hot as always? One of my favorites, the women were fantastic. Great tunes. I think I poked the wife in the water one night behind Sheppards :evilb:

Rich post a pic of your handy-work down there. I'm about to have a couple of my docks extended/upgraded & a lift put in, so I'm curious about these things now.

Appears as though you are home safe and sound. That was a long drive.

I had a blast visiting. Thank goodness out of the 4 of us, we had one boat with little to no issues!
