What's the deal with the mechanical fuel pump on the dyno? What kind of fuel system is in the boat?

The boat has the top of the line Weldon pumps with a bypass setup.I had to replace the regulators on the motor to 2 big Holleys per motor.It seems to be sufficient now.The best setup is belt driven fuel pumps.For time limits i had, i made the changes that i did and the engines lived.The engines lived on the dyno with the old setup.The boat is always a different story.The dyno has killer Weldon pumps also.
