I wouldn't trade our 15 feet of snow per year for just 1 Hurricane. You guys hold onto your a$$es and tell us how fun it was after it's over. Good luck and let us know if you need anything.

Its just mother natures way of equaling things out. We get ice and snow for a couple months, lose half a year of boating. You get devastating hurricanes. Insurance goes up and lives are ruined!

I've been thru a dozen or so hurricanes, and I'll take a huuricane over an earthquake anyday. I was working out in LA in 1994, when the North ridge earthquake hit, and that was some scary $hit!

I left upstate New York in 1982, and haven't missed one single snow flake!!

Like cuda said, Bring it on, we need the rain. This depression should kill our FIRE SEASON, which has been terrible!! I just take our boat off the lift, on to it's trailer, and over to Orlando to my sister-in-laws and store it til the cane' passes.

Or, we do like Fever Mike does, if it's going to be just a little blow. Just lash down the boat/cradle to the dock, and party down @ the TIKI bar !

I lived in Chicago and Kansas City for a few years, and I will NEVER go back because of the winters!! I am in paradise now, and I can deal with the hurricanes(they are way overrated), besides we need the rain.
