Sunday Cruise at 115mph with stock power.
I had the opportunity to drive on a new Fountain Lightning 38 with the new Mercury 700's. We were on inland lakes which did not give us the space to open it up to its fullest potential. Full tank of gas and 5 people on board it ran to about 115mph on gps. I like the changes on the new lightnings.

WOW nice numbers! I wonder what it would do with a couple of people on board and 1/2 tank of gas down here in Florida? Where these the new orange colored Mercury Racing 700's?
How was it getting on plane and just a simple cruise speed? I wonder what insurance cost compared to my Fountain 38TE would be?

Baby asprian orange.
Big props take a little longer to get on plane but make up for it on top-end. Zero slippage.
