The PGA Tour will be in my home town (Medinah, IL) in August and many of my neighbors rent their homes to the pros for $3000-$5000 for the week. My neighbors are on a list right now and will not know who the pro that will staying in their house until they hand them the keys.

Last time they had it at Baltusrol in NJ, I still lived up in that area. What a nightmare...couldn't drive anywhere near the place.
What amazed me at the time were the people renting their lawns out for parking. Most of these people were not the type who you'd think would trash their manucured lawn for a couple hundred bucks.

This is the notice we got about renting, I live 2.5 blocks from Wingedfoot!

Know that homes rented out by hospitality companies are not permitted within town limits. You have the right to report the commercial use of a residence if you suspect it is going on.
