Strike 3!!!!!!!!
 

You may recall last year (Strike 1) the security gate at my condo not only closed on my CL65 but bounced about 11 times down the roof and trunk.
Then abut 6 months ago (Strike 2)i was pulling up to my shop, the storm drain that I drove over 10,000 times before and semis drive over it every day decided to give way while i was driving over it dropping the front wheel of my car in the hole ruining the tire, rim, cracking the fender and some underbody damage.
Now, this is the best of them!!
Strike 3
Yesterday we did the photo shoot for H20 Full throttle. It was suggested that we take a picture with my cars in front of the boat. After the shoot that went perfect. 2 of my employees went to drive my CL65 and my Excursion back to my warehouse. The guy in my Excursion didn't realize you can't see whats behind you by looking in the rear view mirrow since the truck is so high. Guess what happened next??!! :mad:

No, He's actually a pretty good guy. Just not very bright. He tells me "The good new is there wasn't any damage to the Excursion"!

Im sure the mercedes dealer will say, "aww that'll buff right out" Sorry to see that, Had that happen to me by they guys painting our house, backed his old old f350 with the welded on drainage pipe bumpers at burnout speed into the front of my vette, the guy left, and never came back to finish the job, you know the story $500 down up front to pay for paint and supplies and the rest when the job is done,,, hmmm the guy never came back. :mad: I was out $500 and my poor vette. I paid a fortune to fix it , only to have a drunk driver hit me doing 115mph the next year. bye vette, those things really dont make you feel safe when you are clobbered from behind, :eek:

Lucky guy,Sitting way down inside that monster frame is probably what saved him. vette is all about tires , tires, tires, once the tread goes down just a little, the rear gets real loose in a corner, and in the rain, forgettaboudit.

I had the same thing happen to my Carerra. One of my employees backed into it with a Suburban. She couldn't see it because she didn't use the side mirrors. When she felt the initial resistance, she stepped on the accelerator because she thought she was climbimg over a curb. Only when the Suburban wouldn't move anymore did she get out to see what was blocking her.

Had to repair from the drivers' mirror to the rear tail light. Fortunaltely, I had leased the Porsche and simply turned it in at the end of the lease.
