1993 PowerQuest - Carb to EFI / MPI Conversion

Looking for a little help here,

I am in the process of buying a 1993 PowerQuest with a 454 Mag. The boat is in excellent condition as it has been rack stored since NEW (2nd Owner) I purchased this boat knowing that the power could be better. I'm not a spped guy but love the ride. Anyway, my question.

What would it take to convert this motor to a EFI / MPI motor. And would this really do any thing as far as performance here?

I know I could put forth the investment but would like to start with the hardware I have currently.

Please provide comments as to what might be the best bang for the buck without getting crazy.

This may be another option. Its been for sale a little while, I was looking for a pair of them and he only has one.
