Hello All-

This has to be one on the best photo's ever taken. I would like to have a bigger version on the picture so I could make a 8 X 10 out of it. If some one has a bigger file could you please email me at [email protected]

Thanks Don

That is a Ron Thibedeau photo. John Crouse has donated all of the library of Ron's work to HORBA.

Let me know what size you want to get eventually. You can contact me through the website that has lots of other photos too.

This is a little earlier than we intended, but as a way to offset some of the expenses of our free HORBA website, we are testing the water in regards to printing up some of our donated photo library.

To simplify things, we are only going to do three sizes.
Small is 8 X 10, Medium is 16 X 20 and Large is 36 X 29.

We hope to have this up and taking orders by July 1.

Here is an example of one of the photos in all three sizes. What do you think?

The HORBA sign is going to be made into a poster too.

If you want a shop photo, we have discussed with our lab the concept of doing a very special run of a 4 X 8 foot size....check our website after July 1 for more details.

www.historicraceboats.com

Thanks everyone so much for your support, of our attempts to keep the history of the old boats, alive and available for a new generation.

Our first event, the NYC poker run, was a great event to start with, and now this weekend some more of the old boats will be competiting at Point Pleasant.....come on down and introduce yourselves to us....we want to meet everyone interested in this.

Yes, I have seen some of those in the boxes of material John Crouse gave us. We are still sorting and trying to make categories for all this.

Here is a picture of the last three boxes that he donated of photos, negatives, slides etc.

Most of Thibedeau's stuff was done with his Hasselblad camera that has very unique medium sized negatives which require a different type of processing. So that is also slowing us down a bit.

Each box here weighs about 50 lbs.
