BOTTOM LINE - you are prepared or not. Engines tuned down, wrong props, too many people, wrong gas, wasn't ready, hatch was lose, windsheild was dirty or you weren't ready...DOES NOT MATTER

Simple question: put the same engines in the "cat killer" and any quality cat of the same length...which will be faster? Kinda dumb actually, not even worth racing to find that out, we all KNOW the answer.
I m astounded Fountain did such a crazy thing. He has great boats and a super racing team, what pushed him to make such an absurd statement and "race" a private individual boat owner without telling him ahead of time and organizing it properly? It just seems moonbeam to me. Could it have been the upcomining Miami Vice film with "stars" in it, yet no Fountains? <gg> |

I'm not taking sides, but here's my take.
Pro Race driver and throttleman versus some guy out to have fun with passengers on board. I think Fountain has made an ass of himself. Bring it to LOTO in August where EVERYBODY knows the deal. Then put up a number and we'll be impressed. |
