Speed Racer Last year Broke a blower belt at half course and that trap speed was going threw on one motor! We will be there this year... We gave Reggie the invite and for him to even stay at the house... But i would almost start a bet to see if he even shows...

I dont think that boat would do very well with the big Sea Ray swells headed down course. I have seen Callan way out of shape even. i have attended this every year since its right in our back yard.. Its fun to watch.. But Callan is going to get knocked off his thown this year.. Bud Select's new boat i would put my money on that... Speed Racer was first in its class last year.. Everyone should come down its a great time and you get to see some really Kick ass boats.. Just get out and drop an anchor early or wont be able to see anything..

i love the shootout, but it is what it is, a radar run.... the kilos are a timed event.... Dave ran over 202 with a two way average over 198 on reggies turf nearly 4 years ago, if reggie had the boat to break that, wouldn't you think he already would have?

I'll take Callan as the top dog at the Shootout. I've heard some speeds he has hit here at Lake Monroe, and they are fast!
