Thanks for the thoghts. Your comments are exactly what I have been thinking one part of me says get a new 502 long block and move on. The other part says while the engine only has 350 hour the oher engine might it be close, so bite a big bullett repower and hopfully it will be like new. But I'm sure I will not get much of a return when I sell it.

The boat is a 96 28 Special in excellent condition and I like the boat.

The other thing I'm in Rhode Island and the summer is flying by.

Stil confused.
