WHAT HE SAID!!!!
At 80 hours grenaded a lower july 4th 2005, bought a brand new 1 with the factory 1 year warranty, 10 hours later cracked the gear case, 40 hours later snapped a prop shaft. all on the left hand counter rotating lower, on a 30 spectre with 2003 300x's spinning 15x32 3 blades @ 62-6300 rpms with a prop shaft height of 1 5/8's above the hull. After i snapped my prop shaft and donated a prop to the lake floor, i purchased a set of 14.5 x 30's. rpms @ WOT are now 68-6900 lost about 4mph up top, lost about the same at 5000 rpms but midrange acceleration increase is awesome, easier outta the hole, and have had 20-30 hours of no breakage...KNOCK ON WOOD...so im gonna run these for a bit. i think the 15x32 may have just a lil too much bite for the sportmaster lowers

4 blade props make the lowers much happier as well. I run 15x34 3blades an have not broke any shafts with the big shafts but have cracked a housing and several carrier bearings
