Dan,
I thought Racine would be good.
1. They have the long dock by the boat ramp that makes it easy for us to tie off and raft off. Plus it is easy place to hang out and talk with everyone.
2.There are 3 places within a short walking distance for lunch.
3. It is about a 40mile round trip run so the gas bill won't require month's of budgeting for.
4. If the water is a little rough it still can be run without feeling like you have a long way to go.

Hopefully everyone is ok with this.

My boat is too small for the run but it's Giggle Fest that weekend (grirls weekend) so I'll be free. I may just come down and see the nice rigs.

what is considered too small of a boat for this
i will be up that way on that weekend and wasnt planning on bringing the boat but might get in my cousins boat

Lake Michigan will dictate the size of the boat. We have had 25' single engine boats on the runs. Sometimes the small boats are faster than the larger boats. Watch the weather then decide.

No on the cigars but I bet you could donate it to the fire pit when we have that going.

Regarding size of boat for the run. There are all sizes and as Dan indicated watch the weather and then decide. There are many days when we see 16-18' aluminum fishing boats out running. You need to be the one to decide what conditions you want to run in. It can be flat out there or it can be big water too.

Based on the comments I am getting on this run it sounds like a good turn out.
