So is anyone here going to attend? I have been looking at the list and it sounds interesting. I can't afford the Fountains but I hate to think about someone else stealing them. I don't really even know what they are worth and they are gonna sell this weekend!

My buddy is there, says both the boats abused, look like they were tied up next to rough concrete on rough water.

No obvious maint on anything, may be some deals, but a lot of people there, so likely not

I worked for the family that owned that airpark in the 80's, I think it's the same guy... He has a BUNCH more toys than that! Our paychecks bounced several times.

I don't get the emotional bidding at some of these auctions.

This guy did acumulate some major toys. And a bunch of them. Wonder what the early vette will bring?

Thanks,....Fred.....

Whoever spent that much on those Fountains better like them.
The Vette, they said would go around $2,500,000.00.......Jay Leno flew in, in his jet to buy the Vette.

Both those boats had 500's with bravo's, they were redone in 2004 with innovation 900's, and # 5's. About 82 inches of motors squeezed into 80 in of compartment space. They were rigged by Page Racing, with all top shelf stuff. Many long hours were spent rigging both. I know this personally.

I believe this guy had a 36 Nor-tech as well!

Nevermind it sold for 114,000, the same article said the coast guard bought one of the boats.

After reading the article, he makes ken lay look like a saint.

The different owner. The owner of the 36Nortech was having some work done on these for their owner a couple of years ago.

I have a good friend on Norman that was a marine dealer and now earns most of his money building and selling street rods and muscle cars.

He called me last weekend to let me know about this auction and asked if I would like to go there with him.

His inside people had called him and said that they would be surprised if either Fountain brought over 70 to 80K.

Looks like they were wrong.
