Re: Monday Morning "OOPS"

Technically, a boat has an intrinsic quality to run its best in the water and thus it makes it difficult to run on land. So yes, it looks like he landed himself in a technically difficult position. :D :D

Hopefully, it was a stuck throttle or steering failure and not :drink:ing.

Too Funny..... :D :D

They probably need the cooler to use as a step to haul ass after the "OOPS" before the cops got there.....

Re: Monday Morning "OOPS"

Could it have been a beaching w/ the tide going out making it look worse?

And why is it usually fountains in these predicatments... from what i've seen from pics on here.

Re: Monday Morning "OOPS"

Being that the tide change is under 6" here now, he had to have a pretty good head of steam to get her that far up on the beach - - - had to be one h*ll of a stop.
Me thinks the nut holding the wheel was probably well "oiled"!!!

Re: Monday Morning "OOPS"

Tide changes here usually run between .5' and1.5' depending on the season - - - not much need for floating docks !!!!

Re: Monday Morning "OOPS"

That EX is squatting with just the trailer attached. That had to be one ridiculous tow with the boat actually on the trailer, which probably lead to the winch strap breaking, and the boat sliding off. (Add to the fact the trailer had some type of plastic slick bunks added to it.)

Re: Monday Morning "OOPS"

I think the "technical difficulty" was that they ran out of cooler beverages and descided to go for a boat ride to get some more.

Anyone that has been to the Tickfaw 200 knows Crazy Charlie Albert. This is one of his oops jobs in Orange Beach a couple years ago. Luckily, no one was injured and alcohol was not a factor. Actually lifted the old Cig off the rocks the next morning with a barge and crane, cranked it and drove it back to the landing! There's a Cigarette acid test if ever there was one.
