I haven't made up my mind yet. That bay boating is so shallow. Last year at the AC run I stuck it in the mud. Calling sea tow. Doing my part helping out at shore dreams this weekend then its Manhasset Bay poker run the 22nd .Running the Hudson river area 25ft is shallow.Hotels are hard to get this time of year also sence its at least a two night say.I'll make up my mind last minute. But the club dose do everthing first class.For anybody in the area thinking of going you won't be disapointed.

I'll be somewhere on the bay where I can watch the fleet go by. Close as I'll get to it, since I lack the proper equipment to enter.....like a real boat.

Wish I could be there but just can't work the time off right now. I lived in Barnegat Light for 3 years while I was the Ops Officer at the Coast Guard Station there back in 80-83. I love that area, what a great place to boat! I really miss relaxing at Kubels the little bar that was across the street from the station back then...is it still there the last time I was there to visit was about 96 or 97?

So make sure you take plenty of pics to post so I can live vicariously through what I'm sure will be a great event.

Saw him out last Saturday. He was over by F-Cove with the hatch up and looking at the motors, I hope everything was ok.

I was going to do the run but some personal things have come up. If I do it, it's going to be last minute as long as there is still a spot open. :(

I talked to David yesterday. He sucked up a little sand, no big deal. I guess they were cleaning out the strainers. I keep telling him to stay out of there! :rolleyes: :D
