Yeah. I haven't decided on whether I am bringing mine either. 10 hours dragging a boat on non-interstate highways that I don't know sounds miserable.

Make sure it's COOOOOLD beer. It's supposed to be around 100 here all week.

If your staying at the Ledges, try Dorseys Pit Stop (next to Shooters) for food and drinks. That's where I usually kill an hour or 2 on Friday afternoons.

I would make sure to go to Dog Days or BackWater Jacks. Good food, drinks, and entertainment at both and just nice places to hang out and enjoy the lake.

Also, are there any good restaurants? Upscale type places.

Not much in upscale restaraunts on the water. JB Hooks is usually good and overlooks the water, near the new bridge.

upstairs at the horny toad is probably your best bet on the water. if by land, jb hooks or the blue heron are our two favorites. great atmosphere and food is wonderful. jb hooks tends to be pretty packed on fri and sat from 6-8 or so but their steak neptune is awesome. good luck.

Nicole and I saw you at BWJ's over the 4th. We ran into Clark & Ryan there too, but you were too busy pimpin' on some chick to notice. I'll be down for a week starting Friday night.

Sorry I missed you, but I do seem to have limited "obsevational capabilities" after being there for a few hours. :D

JB Hooks, Brass Door, Andre's, Potted Steer, J. Brunners

I've eaten at JBH's and the Brass Door. JBH's has a better atmosphere and a great view. Brass Door has excellent Prime Rib & Steaks. J Brunners, I believe is similar to the Brass Door and right across the street.

potted steer is good surroundings but the food is average at best.
