What do you think I could sell these for? I woud have 3 of them to sell if I decided to do this. It would include the headers and everything else needed to run them. Thanks

Are you selling the Transom assembly too? If so, what kind?

Actually your ride would be a real sleeper with trip 525's... I say you buy them! Your 496's ought to be easy to get rid of...

Bryan,
I was originally thinking about the 525's or Ilmor's and could not find three used. I found some 500's but now that I am on my second set of fresh water cooled, I would never go back to raw water. The first two exhaust manifold failures I have seen were in the 800 hour range which is great!New was not in the budget so I decided to order the CMI's first. They have not been installed. Still waiting on some pipes from CMI. Anyway this caught my attention, trips in my own back yard and reasonably low hours. It seemed to make some sense (depending on the price) and yes the 496's should be easy to move. It probably would shock a few at the OPBA poker runs!

496's with CMI's would be really easy to move... good luck - sounds like a viable option.
I've been looking for a pair of 300X's for my boat - would love to break into the triple digits...
As for being a sleeper - I would keep it quiet if you do buy them and then make the debut at the Long Labor Day Run... Heck you might even be able to run me down if I still have the current motors...
