there's always something to do in the keys...depends where in the keys you are going...there's a couple of us that have weekend homes there myself, underpresure and more

Yes....should be good...The Hammocks used to be the Hampton Inn......was re-done as condos 2 years ago.....on the gulfside down near the 7 mile bridge. I haven't seen them since being renovated but they should be nice.

I hope the weather for your trip is exactly like today...perfect.

Check out Sombrero Beach..........the walkway under 7-mile bridge.........go bridge fishing.........buy a "Keynoter" local newspaper on saturday for lists of things to do while your here.
If it's just the 2 of you, call Little Palm Island and make lunch or dinner reservations.........it's worth it. (but no kids)

Had this trip planned long before the Hot Toddy date was set, they were supposed to do it next weekend but made it this weekend instead.... :rolleyes: Have fun..I'll be on the beach sipping Margaritas! :evilb:

Islamorada Fish Co. (in Islamorada) is open again after renovating from hurricane Wilma.
In Marathon also try Cabots at sunset hour.......or The Island near the light coming into town

Nope not true, next weekend is the Lake George Run. Toddy, first weekend of October. No one ever listens to me. :rolleyes: So don't make plans next year for this weekend.

Technically this is the last weekend in Sept since the run is on Saturday Sept. 30th.. :rolleyes: So, the first full weekend in Oct. would have been next weekend! :drink:

I usually go down in mid Dec. and stay thru mid Jan. and stay on Sunshine Key. Just look for the boat with a jolley roger flying under the dive flag floating around Sombrerro Reef. :evilb:

Its the best dayum sandwich you will ever eat, and its HUGE.

They also make some of the best dayum key lime pie ive ever had, beats Blond Girraffe with a stick.
