after everything they did for the sport to get treaded like that.. and i know rules are rules.. other stock teams should just say no and move on to next year

I still don't understand they did what they were supposed to do. They gave the motors to Inovation who is a sanctioned rebuilder and inspector for OSS. If the seals weren't broken how can they DQ the team. I would understand some sort of censorship against Inovation and even a points penalty but total DQ it doesn't sound right that the team is taking the full burden of OSS's mistake. It really s**ks.

One thing alot of people don't realize what it takes as far as money and stress to run a full blown race schedule in offshore racing , especially a spec class w/mininum weights , technical inspections ,etc. The committment and toll it takes on your family life is not worth it. And then you get your bowling trophy and a check that doesn't even pay expenses?? Get prize money up to a respectable amount ($100,000+)for a victory and you can deal with some BS. I don't blame those guy's for going back to their roots and having a good time again racing. My hat is off to them!
