If you seen our Mechanic you would know why I dont trust him and have been asking you guys

Well I called the trailer manufacture and found out it weight is 1200lbs - the boat weight is 6300 (dry) thats 7500lbs (I will tow it empty on fuel) but add 200lbs for coolers of beer thats 7700lbs... Not to heavy unless its parked on top of you.

It's VERY hilly down there. Just stay right & run with the big trucks.

Problem is the ramps. They be some steep SOB's...add a little wet pavement to the equation and Keep it in 4 wheel all the way up the hill.

your not going to hurt your truck, just drive with some smarts going down long grades. I use an F-350 and to anything from a boston whaler to a 46 skater. Your truck will be fine.

the ramps over at the state park are very nice and not steep at all. also pretty wide and they have those grooves in them to help with traction when pulling out. atleast they were last time i was there several years ago. if you havent been there its a great place to boat, enjoy! . . . oh . . . an make sure you have a GPS on board
