Any members close to Norwalk, CT?

We are working on a new home for my dad and it's out in the boonies. Because of the massive cost to run electric to the site, we have been searching for a generator. I've found a old standby unit, but it's in Connecticut. The generator is currently on a trailer which is not road worthy. It will need to be pulled onto a flat bed and trailered. Before taking it to a shipping terminal, you'll need to separate the trailer from the generator and put the generator on a pallet. You can keep the trailer if you wish. The final thing would be to take the pallet to a shipping company for shipment. The generator it's self weighs around 1100 pounds, and would fit on a 48" square pallet. I was wondering if there were any members in the area that would be willing to make a few bucks doing this?

I work down at the waste treatment plant in Norwalk about twice a month. We have a job coming up in a week or so. My brother in Law and I may be able to do it. Where is it? Is there a fork truck there? Anything need to be cut with torches to get it off? PM me with details. Matt
