been thinking about a fall trip on the boat has anyone boated to Galena from Chicago by water

Contact Solo on Speedwake. He took his 39 Sea Ray from Milw-Chicago and down to FL to east coast. Just a year ago. Now he is working in Chicago.

Galena?? the Galena IL thats out West past Rockford??? Close to the Mississippi??? I wasnt aware you could get there by water....My Parents have a summer house near there....cool area but lacks a bit for excitement...more of a trinket/tourist place...
