We were at TickFaw 200 poker run one year watching these guys put in the water in a Turbine Fountain .Pull over to the fuel dock to get diesel. They pumped about 500 gallons and were pissed that they had told the marina gas dock they were coming to have enough fuel.pumped them dry..So they pay for the fuel ,4 cases of beer and 4 packs of sigs.No ice :eek: :eek: Wouldn't it be cheaper to fill up at the truck stop??

My biggest laugh was when my truck ran out of Gas on the ramp putting the boat in the water. I still swear it had a 1/4 tank when I backed the boat down the ramp. The old Coast Guard guy doing checks drove me to the gas station 3 times to fill the only 1 gal gas container we could find.

Once I had an old 69 Chebby C20 idling on the ramp while I put the boat on the trailer. The truck just quit running. WTF? I had a half tank of gas in the truck. I finally figured the fuel pump wasn't strong enough to pump the fuel from that angle. I sat on the fender with a coke bottle of gas, and poured it in the carb while my buddy pulled the truck up on level. Ran fine then. :chick: |
