Sad but very true. I really think this even affects the Larry Smith built boats as well. Just the Scarab name being assoicated with Wellcraft has hurt the price of the Larry Smith Scarabs. Wellcraft used a lot of middle of the road accessories and cheap rigging and construction. Its evident ( and I own one). The other Scarab line..... well what about the Gentry boat. Solid and good as any of them.

We were talking with Larry about building a 38 for a customer never happened but he is a great guy and is very talented.
