Little property help..georgia
 

Need some info and guidance please guys.
My grandmother is close to her end of time.She owns 6+/- acres in Lavonia.7 lots total.3 lots are lakefront on Lake Hartwell in a cove.220ft total on water.One Lake front has a 2000sqft home.The other two lake front are on each side of home.The other 4 are across the street and make up a half block.

POA's are already in place but we are not sure how long probate will take.I told my mother to have an appraisal done on the property right now and when the will is near execution for her benefit.

Here's the issue.It goes between my Mother and her Brother.No one else.No leins no taxes no nothing.Neither wants to develop the property more than it is.I have no interest in it really as my life is down here.

Anyone have experience on how to handle this?..There really is no chance of anyone pulling the wool over anyone eye's so to speak.Not that tye of relationship BUT I would like to have the upper hand in the desicion process as both involved are 60 yrs old and to be as informed as possible.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.I really do not know how to handle it but if they eventually want to sell a lot or the lot with a home I am in the market.You can email me at [email protected].I live in Atlanta and freaquent Hartwell often,if I can beof any help let me know.
