Lake Erie, Put-In-Bay, Kelley's Island.
Hell, you only have six months (at best) to get you're boating / partying in - they do it RIGHT up there. |

There are several beautiful boating spots up in the northern portion of Michigan's south penninsula...Grand Traverse Bay, Elk Rapids, Charlevoix, Indian River, Torch Lake to name a few. Torch Lake is National Geographic Magazine's top 10 of the most beautiful lakes in the world. The water clarity is incredible.
The 1st shot is of Torch Lake's famous "sand bar" in the far distance. The 2nd shot is of Indian River And the 3rd shot is from Marion/Power Island in Grand Traverse Bay... By the way, the pictures look much better if you click on them to englarge |
Re: It's always about Havasu and LOTO...Where else!?
Anywhere on Lake Michigan. We don't bother to party untill after the boats are put away. It's not a safety thing. The waterand weather is just to great to turn the boat off! Some days you could run a bassboat from Holland,MI to Milwaukee, WI with no troubles. But watch out, then next day you may need a wave crusher to get back. :drink:
