Yeah, stormrider, I was out there in that one on a 48 Ocean and it almost destroyed the main cabin....cabinets, drawers, TV's etc. Long ride home that day. Oh yeah.....NO FISH EITHER!

I used to work for Paul Mann back in 95 for a winter.Pretty crazy how those north carolina boats are just hacked together with a pile of lumber and a bunch of nails and epoxy. No two boats are alike either, their all built by eye rightside up.But they were some of the strongest and lightest sportfishermans built up until a few years ago when the production shops finally caught up to the lighter is faster idea.

That was K Hovnanian's boat. I used to see the original Lady Anna in Lake Boca (Boca Raton, FL) in the winter months. The boat that went down was built here in FL and was big but probably not over 100 ft. Weird deal, guy took it out of the shipyard in the middle of the night without paying the last million dollar payment or something. Then next summer boat sinks offshore. The Sunsentinel had a big story on the boat when it happened.
His new boat is like a 60 ftr named Baby Anna.

I take clients out of OC sport fishing and have done the WMO four years ago, as HPOffshore said that why they call it the Canyon, its the Atlantic Ocean, it can be down right nasty its 60-80 miles out for the White Marlin to hit the Gulf Stream and there is no "sandbar" to tow a 60 Sportfish that is going down.....
