TorboJack, We are looking at a new Fleetwood Discovery Diesle pusher. I am going to build a 26 Daytona W/ Single 750HP Small Block. With the lower monthly payment I can then afford the Motor Home I want.

One Bad Cat, Ya you are right you could not build a new boat for waht you are asking, from wht it looked like you have all the cool stuff.

Anyway I have lowered the price to $139K so I can either sell it know or decide to keep it. It is a absolute steal at $139K

Cool

Extra post in!!

Catmando, Ya you are right about the stupid part. I have to say I won't be trying that again anytime soon, Not only was it alot of work but it was also very scarry. It is amazing how comfortable 120mph is but 130 is a different thing all together. I can't even imagine 140-150 or even 190mph, But at least those guy's have windshields

Also A friend of mine is selling his 28 Daytona LP with a sinlge Whippled 502. He is asking $88K and it is worth a hell of a lot more. Check it out @ http://www.pyleperformance.com/photo...ytonalpsingle/

Don't be to sure about HP ratings!! All I will say is that someone "might" have had some really good gas and "maybe" made a little more boost with a possible advanced timing. I would guess that to make a 28ft cat go 130mph you would need a little more then 580 hp. Just a hunch

I went with the 26 daytona so I could pull behind my motorhome. I have a 36' foretravel. Boat behind this motorhome makes it a long package & in tight places is tuff.

You might want to buy used. The last 5 I have bought used & saved alot of $. If you look around you will find someone the took the hickey buying new, then decided to sell. One thing to look for is make sure it has enough HP. Last diesel one I had ran good enough by itself but when I put my old 24' baja behind it or pulled my z71 I could not get out of my own way.

H2x
Z71 should have no problem pulling 28 daytona.
