HTM UPDATE
http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...s%2Dcalifornia
The volunteer divers are asking for some donations to the Catalina Island's hyperbaric chamber.I know i will be sending a donation for the efforts put forth to find our brothers.May they all rest in peace now.Can anyone help to find the info where to send the donations to. Todd |
Let me tell you... I regularly dive to 80 ft.. in search of lobster...
On occasion, below 100... And at my best, 127ft. At that depth, things start getting really wierd. You start feeling light headed, giddy, and sometimes even dizzy. Ive felt it myself. At that depth, if you try and surfact quickly for any reason, you will litterally explode from the inside out. You cannot panic. Remember, thats only 120 ft. I have respect for those guys...   :) :D |
I'm a diver for our Fire Dept and the lake here goes to 93 ft. At that depth you can only stay down for a short time and the water is so cloudy you can only see 2-3 ft MAX. I feel for the family. I've seen what happens to the Families way too many times.

i believe this is the link to the caltalina hyperbaric page.web page.it is good to know that people are willing to get so selflessly in volved and put themselves at such a high risk for others.
