It might be the last one Don built, but it's not the last 28 they built. Looks cool.

Re: Has this thing been in a time capsule?

My next door neighbor when I was growing up had a mid fifties century resorter (mahogany boat) with a 327 dual quad carb motor.. sweet little boat for its day .. The boat was purchase new a year or so before he bought the house. He was 70 years old when he bought the place and the boat scared him .. It was hung in a boat house and some years never got put in the water at all. When he sold he wanted to give me the boat, but at the time it wasnt my cup o tea .. I remember it had less than 50 hours and was in incredible shape for a 30+ year old boat .. things happen and stuff gets stored away.. Id say by the look of the drives on that boat its an original :drink:

The guy does not have the Certificate of Origin in his name. That could be a small problem

When i asked for a phone # to call that 1hr prior, got no reply. This boat is only 20mins away from my office.
