Sorry Dean....

I just added the cat now if you want a peek! ;)

More to follow when she's ready.

I felt this was really great news so I shared it!

It seems to me to be a great step (no pun intended) in the right direction. :drink:

Remember you never can learn too much, and that goes for all of us. It surprises me that the majority of you guys find this amusing, this actual hands on course could possibly save your life someday. I'm not to macho, I'm going to take the course, to better further my knowledge. Jeff

Re: The Latest Out of OUTERLIMITS !!!

Jassman, good call, at the speeds these things are doing, there is never enough knowledge.

The OL Cat, looks like any other drawing of a cat. I thought it would be something spectacular. :(

If it was a 3-4 week camp It might work....a 2 day mini course, whatever.

pure ignorance

NRG 08-25-2006 05:55 PM

Re: The Latest Out of OUTERLIMITS !!!

IGNORANCE? I would think that most could learn a lot in 2 days! The training can't overcome stupidity, but it can be informative to those who really want more knowledge/experience - after all, it just may be that "one thing" that makes all the difference in the world! I think it is a great idea and shows that OL is concerned with the customers.

I am sure some manufacturers say, "hey, you know what you are doing, call me if you have questions!"

Trust me!

It will be spectacular... :drink:

Do you realize how many changes this cat has gone through just in its development stage?

After all, perfection takes time.... ;)

Well, not really, as nothing as been presented until this to the best of my knowledge. BUT, perfection does take time, but the drawings, planning, designing and preliminary intentions should be documented by now and all I see is a generic drawing of what looks like any other MP design.
Just an observation.

Re: The Latest Out of OUTERLIMITS !!!

NRG, I believe Dreamer was quoting the post by B4M, about the course length. I think that was the "ignorance" he was referring to...

By the way, I agree about this being a good step from a manufacturer. maybe it will start a trend.

Its time to show many out there that you easily get in trouble with todays new hull designs, We show you to see it before it happens and how to recover if something happens.

Pantera1 08-26-2006 07:32 AM

Re: The Latest Out of OUTERLIMITS !!!

I think its a great idea.. Everyone can learn something ..anyone who knows it all, "doesnt"
Although Im starting to think all the new boats should come with a warning label on the dash " Please do not jerk the wheel all the way over 40 MPH..
There seems to be a rash of people trying to power slide large V's lately

As a person who lost a friend after an Outerlimits GTX crash at Smoke on the Water 2005, I think this is fantastic idea. It brings to the forefront what everyone hates to talk about...OL is a first class firm.
