About 5 years ago, when I was buying my Bravo HP gimble from Re-Pro Power, I talked to a guy named John Bauer. He said he and his brother originally built the Martinis and the name changed to Corsa and they sold the business, or something like that. He said there was a dealership up in Chicago. I know of about 3 or 4 other '79, '80 Martinis in this area. The ones I've seen are in pretty decent shape. I just recently saw one on ebay from around here that had twin small blocks in it, but it looked a little rough.
I would do things differently if I were to do another restoration. I would start with the bottom and take out the hook. The boat just sticks in the water. This weekend we had 5 adults and were still able to run 74MPH. But that hook is robbing horsepower.

Angel, I saw that this is up for sale now.
Never saw it until it was up in the featured ads banner here on OSO.
Awesome looking boat!!
Do you have any more pics?? Where is it listed in the classifieds? I couldn't find it, did some searching and dug up this thread.
Love the classic look and the lifeline.
Any more info?
