Thanks everyone for the input. It doesn't sound like the ideal ramp setup but it does sounds like it can be done. If a Black Thunder can get in our NorTech should.

If any of you are around and see us "Xcess Wetness" say hi.

Hey, Rick
Are you worried that Nor-tech's gonna spring a leak if you take it across? Lot easier than trailering it! We might be going over there on Saturday. If we see you adrift, we'll drop off some brownies.

You should just head up another 45 minutes and hang out with the rest of us in Grand Haven. Always lots of big power out there. Never an issue with launching your boat out of the municipal on harbor island.

Grand Haven's ramp needs to be dredged the city should be sued for all the prop damage and drives the have been damaged in the last 2 years. Keep your drives up when leaving the ramp area or you'll find some hard hidden objects.

Bob,
You are right about it is easier/quicker to cross. However, they are calling for 3-5' and this time of year you have a real good chance that your return trip can be bad. I heard Tom/Lynn maybe joining you. If you do come over keep an eye out for us.

Pappo,
Maybe we will run up your way by boat.
