It always reminded me of a Fountain (ink) pen and that being Reggie's last name it went well together... Im actually surprised it doesnt spark any resemblance to anyone else, maybe Im just out there!!!

1966 16 foot Allison...... long before Hydrostream was a gleam in Howard Pipkorn's eye. This was also the first production pad vee hull.

Big Bird .....
The Beak was added to indicate flight, bird like I think, lighter faster ...... The wing would evolve later, finally ending this wetted surface thing forever ..... We could have been there, now I'm not so sure .....
