I didn't know Gordon personally but did speak with him a couple of times on the water while admiring "Flash Gordon" over the past several years. He seemed like a great guy and was obviously used to all the attention the boat got and took it in stride. This story led the 9:00pm newscasts here in the DFW area which is a testament to just what and unusual and tragic event it is. I'm not a religious person but I'll say a prayer for the families and loved ones tonight.

it seems like every ahole and his brother joined just to stir the pot! get thier isp's and ban them for life. i hope none of the immediate family see the posts by these idiots :( seems like it happens every time there is a tragedy. :mad:

:( My deepest condolences go out to all those whos hearts are heavy this weekend over our loss. Please remember these great people are part of our extended family here on OSO, and were loved dearly as the out pour of posts can show. please post your comments with that respect, as in any family I am sure that if there was any wrong doing in the matter an OSO member would be first to lay down the law. Untill then lets stick together, and help Bruce back to a full recovery. :(

wow, this is like a bad dreaming turning nightmare. i just found out the other couple in Gordon's boat was a guy i've known since highschool. man....
