In / Out was quoted $2,000 + full rebuild to spec, a cam bump, new valves, springs, balanced etc. Whole ball of wax. One rebuild was for $20,000 the other for $12,000 cdn. (this guy I personally know). The first offers a one season warranty but is still pretty pricy the other is an out the door and if there is a problem with the motor we will discuss as it is a race motor. Both will be run but not dynode and tested previous to installation and then installed and gone over. Both guys know there stuff.
Question - How much for 420’s crated with warranty from GM? Are these similar to the ’89 merc version with the Crane roller top end? Would you forward a link on any information related to GM? I am out of Alliston.

Thanks for the quick response everyone.
Jeff32, what was your cam selection, I assume roller and final choice of piston / compression? Did you just clean up the heads or do a valve job?
