It is usually a decent time from the boat as well. Some will sit out on the boat in Linkhorn Bay and watch the show from thier boat.
You don't see everything, but is a good time though.

I was thinking about going out and watching from the boat... not sure on what we're doing though. My wife and son (7 mos) are up in DC for her job so I may be on honey-do duty for Saturday.

I did get to watch them practice for a while this afternoon... AWESOME!!

I know alot of the HRPA will be at Hampton Bay Days on Saturday. Reckless will be on his buddy's 37 SeaRay all weekend and plans to do the Linkhorn Bay raft up on Sunday. Not sure what we will do.

Will, where will you be watching the show tomorrow? The end of Linkhorn Bay is about as good a place as any except for oceanfront. But you can't raft up out there.

Absolutely can. They fly directly over my house at 38th & Pacific at about tree height at various times during the show. (Well not that low, but it feels like it.) They do this one downward star burst where they all pull up just abouve the ground and hit the afterburners. One will fly over doing about 500 mph. Especially during practice days, if your not paying attention it will scare the living chit outta ya.

I have been in the parking lot of my store watching today. They are flying over so low, you can see the rivets in the plane!

Just saw the AC Air Show a couple weeks ago with Blue Angels and T-Birds, F22 and Stealth were there too. That plunging star maneuver (sp??) is the chit .. that would have been the picture of the day ... had I been ready for it   The 1 Blue jet flew right overhead and I was sooo mesmerized by it I was frozen :D

Check out my link above  Enjoy guys!
