Limiters ? what rpm? my prop height is 1 5/8's of an inch above, 14.x30's on the limiter 68-6850 @ 101-102. with my 15x32 3 blade labbed merc cleavers was seeing 63-6400 with a best of 107 2 passengers 1/2 tank of fuel cool air and water temps in the 70's. the boat likes the 14.5's a lil better for time to plane and mid range and the whole boat just feels a lil less wound up then with the bigger ones.

hull is a 98 and motors are 2003's with props spinning out.

LowBlue320 -

Is your boat a standard layup or is light? Also, what speeds are you seeing? And, are you running salt water or freshwater?

Thanks,

Mike

Bernie -

I agree. That's why I'm so excited to get one in that price range. A buddy of mine has a 36 Baja with twin HP 500's. He's lucky to see 75 MPH, if that. Nothing against Baja, a top speed of 75, etc..., but that fact that he's got $150,000+ into that boat and I'm going to have less than half that into mine seems pretty good cool now.
