World Finals Dates in Key West
 

The wife is finally is giving me the green light to go to the world finals for the first time!!!! :evilb: :D :D

I know its in november and in Key We but when? What day are the best races on?


Need the dates for the races and a places to stay. I'm on a budget so any help would be greatly appreciated. Found some tickets to fly into miami and then drive down...

I'm STOKED so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Here is the info for the Destin worlds, Which will feature boats from OSS, OPA, and POPRA. If your looking for race action, this will be the spot along with some great parties. Closer to home and easier on the wallet.

Destin is a real nice place to visit. But nothing tops KW for all out fun.

The racing will be better in Destin, but how long can you sit there and watch boats go around in a circle w/o being in one of them. It gets boring

KW is where its at. No one can dispute that

I went to Key West in January of 05. We went in the off season so, it wasn't that bad.

I take it they are splitting up the races from what I see. Are the races just about the same dates but in different places? Duval street is BAD A**! We stayed at a holiday inn or something on the opposite of Duval. It was great trip. We drove from houston and had a 10 day vacation.

This time were flying down. We found tickets for 99 bucks a person to miami and then we were renting a car and driving down to the keys. The wife has found rooms from 90 to 125 a night. Were trying to planas far ahead as possbile to ease the last minute expense stuff.

I'm thinking the KEYS considering I have not had a vacation in a while. :D

Look forward to seeing you in key west! With the races going on and the 160 or so Poker runners(FPC) that are tied in with the races now, I am sure you wont be disappointed with the number of boats. Plus as a lot of people said, "Its Key West" you just cant replace it, no matter how its sugar coated.

Got the flight, car and hotel booked for K.W.!!! :evilb: :D

Coming in on thursday afternoon and leaving on monday!!! WHooo ...hoooo :evilb: :D

Staying at the Holiday Inn I beleive according to what the wife found..Not too bad on the budget.

Air fare 287.00
Car 30.00 a day and room
Hotel 135.00 a night!!!

Still plenty of money left for Duval street!!! :evilb:

Im doing the run with the FPC on Thursday. Ill be running back on Monday am then hanging around Ft Lauderdale for a few days after that.

They are getting to run the course on race day in some way, maybe with a pace boat not sure yet.

Hmm..... sounds to me like JC needs to get the boat count up to collect his fee from the CR. Bring in 150 Awesome PR boats, slap some #s on them, run a few laps and JC collects his fee.

When I first mentioned Key West, I don't htink the wife really cared about why I really wanted to go!! :D :evilb:
